Instructions

      Open your color PDF document in Adobe Acrobat. Choose "Advanced" from the drop-down menu, then scroll down to "Print Production" and over to "Convert Colors."

      Choose "Convert: RGB" or "Convert CMYK" from the menu. You may need to make your conversion more than once to see which works best for the document you are converting.

      Select "Gray Gamma 1.8" or "Gray Gamma 2.2." You may need to do your conversion more than once to see which works better with the document you are converting.

      Change the "Conversion Option" to "Don't Embed Profile" and click OK. Acrobat will begin the conversion, page by page. The progress will show at the bottom of the document window.
